What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They remember choices, measure visits, and power features such as the chat. In this policy, "cookies" also covers similar technologies, such as browser local storage.

Which cookies we use, why, for how long, and how you control each one.
This policy explains which cookies the vaide.app website uses and how you decide about them. It follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the ePrivacy Directive.
Only necessary cookies are on without asking. Everything else depends on your permission.
How we ask for consent
On your first visit, a banner asks what you allow. Until you answer, no optional cookie is stored and no third-party tool loads. The one exception is the contact form protection, which kicks in when you start filling in the form.
Rejecting is as easy as accepting: both buttons sit side by side. Under "Customize", you turn each category on or off. Nothing is pre-selected.
We keep your choice for 6 months, along with the date and the version of this policy. After that, or if the policy changes, we ask again.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, marketing cookies stay off until you turn them on yourself.
Cookies we use
- Necessary (always on): vaide-locale stores the site language for 1 year; vaide-consent stores your cookie choices for 6 months. Both are first-party and do not identify you.
- Form protection (Cloudflare Turnstile, Cloudflare, Inc.): loads only when you start filling in the contact form and checks that a person is sending it. It sets no cookies on the vaide.app domain and is not used for advertising. As a security measure, it does not depend on consent.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4, Google LLC): _ga and _ga_<id> count visits and show which pages work best. They last up to 2 years.
- Functional (Zendesk, Inc.): support chat cookies and local storage, such as __zlcmid, which remember an ongoing conversation. They last up to 1 year.
- Marketing (HubSpot, Inc.): __hstc and hubspotutk (6 months), __hssc (30 minutes), and __hssrc (session). They show which content people care about and link your visits to your contact if you reach out to us.
We do not use advertising cookies.
International transfers
Google, Zendesk, HubSpot, and Cloudflare may process data outside Brazil and the European Union, mainly in the United States. These transfers follow the safeguards in the LGPD (art. 33) and the GDPR (chapter V), such as standard contractual clauses.
Changing or withdrawing consent
Click "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page and adjust the categories. When you turn a category off, we delete its cookies that the browser lets us reach and stop loading the tool.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before, based on the permission you had given.
You can also delete or block cookies directly in your browser:

- Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
Blocking necessary cookies may make the site forget your language and your choices.

When we change the tools or purposes described here, we update this page and ask for your consent again.
